Hello, I'm Jai, a recent graduate with a BDes in Industrial Design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver. I find inspiration in the nuanced aspects of daily life, transforming the mundane into tangible solutions that serve and empathize with my surroundings. My interests span across objects, furniture and spatial design, allowing me to weave my skill set to create functional and aesthetically pleasing solutions. I grow through identifying opportunities within challenges, and as design allows me to combine creativity with purpose, there is no other field I see myself thriving in.
Outside of design, I am highly passionate about fitness and macro-friendly nutrition, constantly striving to learn and improve. These pursuits, much like my approach to design, emphasize balance, discipline, and self-improvement. Whether it's enhancing my health through mindful eating or challenging myself physically, I take a holistic approach to both my personal growth and professional development.
Having recently graduated, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to kickstart my career in an entry-level designer role. I look forward to bringing my creativity, skills, and enthusiasm to the professional world, contributing to innovative design solutions and further honing my craft. Design is my driving force, and I am excited to see where this path will take me, dedicated to making a meaningful impact through my work.
“Design is the channel between the tangible and the transcendent. ”
